A 43-year-old gang member, Louis Peter Hernandez, known as "The Wicked," has been charged with multiple counts of murder after allegedly killing four people, including his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend, while on probation. The shootings occurred in San Bernardino County, California, and Hernandez has a history of violence.

Unwelcome individual shot outside Adelanto residence Monday morning. On Monday morning, June 17, 2024, an adult male was shot outside a residence in the 15200 block of Arcadian Street in Adelanto. “Initially, deputies were heading to a nearby residence for a report of an unwelcome occurrence when they heard gunfire. It is believed the individual that was shot may be the person they do not desire,” stated sheriff's spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

La Jolla inn assault prompts pursuit, drives vehicle into water off Navy Pier. SAN DIEGO A person suspected of attacking an elderly woman at a La Jolla inn led authorities on a pursuit into downtown San Diego and subsequently drove his vehicle into the water near the USS Midway Museum early Monday morning. Authorities stated that a man believed to be an inn staff member employed some type of “deception” to gain entry into a room with two women inside. Once inside, the employee stabbed one of the women in the chest and then escaped.

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating three children—Mar-Naiya Shelton (14), Major Shelton (12), and General Velez-Peterson (6)—who were allegedly kidnapped by their mother, Timberly White. The children were last seen at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the 2000 block of West Florence Avenue, South Los Angeles. Anyone with information regarding Timberly White's whereabouts is urged to call 911.
