The Endless Test Drive
The sentencing of Johnson concludes three separate criminal probes into two distinct vehicle theft schemes that he managed. A total of 100 automobiles were stolen across the three incidents in just over a year. In the initial operation, the pair posed as interested car buyers at various dealerships in nearby areas, to test drive vehicles without any intention of buying them, presenting fraudulent identification and insurance papers. Authorities in Colorado labeled the duo's offense as the "endless journey."
